  • Do you travel for sessions?

    Absolutely! I specialize in both local and destination portrait sessions—and yes, that means I’ll come to you. Whether you're dreaming of portraits in the mountains, along the coast, in your favorite cityscape, or a location that holds personal meaning, I make it happen.

  • Where do you travel?

    Short answer: anywhere in the U.S.
    Longer answer: I frequently travel to the following cities, so booking a session there is extra seamless:

  • Is there a travel fee?

    Travel fees vary depending on the location and date, but I’m always transparent about costs. Pro tip: I often waive or reduce travel fees when sessions are scheduled during my planned travel dates—so it never hurts to ask!

  • Can I book a travel session for a couple, family, branding, or editorial shoot?

  • Do you offer studio sessions, or are all sessions on location?

    Great question! I offer both.

    I have two primary studio spaces in Birmingham, AL:
    -One is designed for fine art and creative portraiture—perfect for timeless family portraits, conceptual shoots, and painterly works.
    -The other is a sleek, modern space ideal for professional branding sessions—think editorial headshots, personal brand storytelling, and marketing visuals that actually convert.

    When I travel, I also book trusted studio spaces in many of my frequent destinations—including New York, Boston, Lakeland, Miami, Colorado Springs, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Seattle. These locations are handpicked for lighting, aesthetic, and comfort, ensuring a high-end, consistent experience no matter where we shoot.

  • Do you offer Touch-ups?

    Yes. I accommodate simple touch ups such as: Whiten teeth, remove blemishes, remove hair fly-aways.
    For more complex requests, a fee may be applied.
    Aesthetic Portraits does not alter the size or shape of body images. Your natural beauty and unique features are celebrated as they are, ensuring that the images we capture reflect the genuine essence of who you are. Trust me to honor your individuality and capture your story with honesty and respect.

  • I've never been professionally photographed, do you have any tips?

    Yes! Once you’ve secured your booking, we will provide you with a comprehensive guide specifically designed for your style session. This guide will outline everything you need to know, from preparation tips to wardrobe suggestions, ensuring that your experience is seamless and enjoyable. We are dedicated to making your photography session uniquely yours and look forward to capturing your moments in the best possible way.

  • What kind of gear do you use?

    I have been a Canon gal from the start. I mostly use my Canon R7, and my extras are a Canon 5D Mark ii, and a Canon Rebel T5. Attached to these lovely cameras are often a 50mm, 85mm, and a 35mm lenses.

  • How do you deliver the photos?

    For initial previews, I typically prefer conducting in-person image viewings to provide a personal touch and a more engaging experience. However, if an in-person viewing is not feasible, I will provide a convenient preview gallery for you to access and select your preferred images. Additionally, I offer a variety of high-quality hard copy options, including prints, wall art, photo books, USB drives, and more to ensure you can cherish your memories in a tangible format.


  • When will the gallery be ready?

    Great Question! The turnaround time is generally:
    Portrait Sessions 3-6 weeks
    Events - 6-8 weeks

    Expedited delivery is available for a fee.

  • Do you send Sneak Peeks?

    Yes! I typically provide a selection of images via text or email within 24-48 hours after our session. This allows you to have a sneak peek of your photos while we prepare the final edits.
